Mysuru:  Four recent books of Dr. K. Leela Prakash, Director of Dr. K. Krishnamurthy Research Foundation, will be released  at a programme to be held at the at Institution of Engineers, JLB Road, tomorrow (Mar. 23) at 5 pm.

Noted litterateur Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar (CPK) will release the four books and speak on  the book ‘Lekhanollasa’ while Sanskrit Scholar Dr. H.V. Nagaraja Rao will speak on ‘Mohamudgara’; Retired English Professor Dr. C. Naganna on ‘Jeevana Sanjeevana’ and Music Professor Dr. C. A. Sridhar on ‘Satyam Sivam Sundaram’.  

Dr. Y.D. Rajanna, District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President, will preside. Convenor C. N. Keshavaprakash and author Dr. K. Leela Prakash will be present.

Hoysala Kannada Sangha and Savigannada Patrika Balaga too have organised a programme to release ‘Hattu Natakagalu,’ authored by Senior Writer Mangala Muddumadappa and  installation of the new team of Hoysala Kannada Sangha at the Institution of Engineers-India, JLB Road on Mar.24 at 10 am.

Sri Ilai Alwar Swamiji of Melukote Vangipura Nambi Mutt  will grace the occasion. Poetess Dr. Latha Rajashekar will inaugurate the function. Sangha President Maddikere Gopal will preside.Senior theatre personality Dr. H.K. Ramanath will release the book. Kadamba Ranga Vedike President and senior theatre personality Rajashekar Kadamba will speak about the book.

Dr. Vasanth Kumar Thimakapura, recipient of Rajyotsava Award and Agri Scientist, Dr. Mahesh Bilva, Senior Geologist and Researcher,  Prof. K. Bhairavamurthy, writer and Dr K. Raghuramaiah Vajpayee, social worker, will be the chief guests.
