Removal of Government board Tahsildar lodges Police complaint

Mysuru:  Following the incident of miscreants removing the caution board installed by the District Administration in the Government land at Doddakere along M.G. Road in city, Mysuru Tahsildar T. Ramesh Babu has lodged a complaint with Nazarbad Police in this regard.

On Jan.10, a team led by Tahsildar Ramesh Babu reclaimed 11.38 acres of land worth about Rs.150 crore at Doddakere coming under Mysuru Survey No.1, after an association named Tank Bund Niveshanagala Maleekara Sangha (Tank Bund Site Owners Association) had erected a board claiming that the property was owned by it.

After reclamation of the said land, the Tahsildar had installed boards at three points in the reclaimed land, which said that the property belonged to the Government and trespassers will be prosecuted. But some miscreants have removed the caution Boards late on Saturday night, following which the Tahsildar lodged a complaint with the Nazarbad Police seeking action against the miscreants, it is learnt.
