February 5, 2024

The Forest Department, which has already banned the installation of name boards, serial lights and cable wires on the trees, has set a deadline of Feb. 15 for removal of the same in a bid to save the bird  population.

The Department has issued the orders following damages caused to the trees, birds and insects owing to the piercing of nails, name boards and wires.
