Bengaluru: After a long delay, the State Government, on Mar. 11, announced the reservation matrix for the Posts of President and Vice-President in 58 City Municipal Councils (CMC) across the State, for  which the polls were held nearly 20 months ago. The reservation matrix was also announced for 93 other Town Panchayats (TP ).

Accordingly, the President post in Nanjangud CMC has been reserved for BCA (Woman) category and Vice-President post for Woman (General).The President post in Hunsur CMC has been reserved for Woman (General) and the Vice-President post for SC (Woman).The President post in Mandya CMC has been reserved for General category candidate and the Vice-President post for BCA candidate. The President post in Chamarajanagar CMC has been reserved for General Category candidate and Vice-President post for BCB (Woman) candidate. The President post in Kollegal CMC has been reserved for General category candidate and Vice-President post for SC (Woman) candidate. The President post in Madikeri CMC has been reserved for Woman (General category) candidate and Vice-President post for BCA (Woman) candidate.
