Resigns as President of Coorg Wildlife Society

Mysuru:  K.C. Biddappa, President of Coorg Wildlife Society, has resigned from the post citing health issues.

During his short tenure, he took up important issues like resolving Man-animal conflict; Opposing four-laning of NH-275 and Railway projects in Kodagu  through a petition to the Prime Minister, Union Ministers and Senior Officials concerned eliciting positive response from the PMO and the Ministries.

His letter to the Chief Secretary and Chief Minister of Karnataka contributed in the Government continuing the total ban on land conversion to prevent unbridled urbanisation  in Kodagu.
