Restrictions on tourists withdrawn: Mysuru DC

Mysore/Mysuru: The restrictions on tourists, hotels, home stays, resorts, lodges and guest houses in H.D. Kote taluk, which was imposed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has been withdrawn on July 24, said Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abhiram G. Sankar.

The DC, in a press release, has stated that as per the Government order, direction has been given for activities in places outside the Containment Zones in the State and also to continue the lockdown in Containment Zones. Accordingly, the restrictions have been withdrawn in the interest of public through an order of July 24 which came into effect on July 25 and the restrictions were withdrawn under Karnataka Epidemic Diseases COVID-19 Regulations-2020, rule 12 and Disaster Management Act 2005-column 12, column  30 (2) and 34.
