Mysuru, Apr. 9 (PM&DM)-The 12th Bi-annual Conference of Canara Bank Retired Employees Association will take place in Mysuru on Apr.10 and 11.

Announcing this at a press meet here, Association General Secretary A.N. Krishnamurthy said that the Conference will take place at Jayamma Govindegowda Kalyana Mantapa located on Udayaravi road in Kuvempunagar on Apr.10 and 11. Pointing out that more than 2,000 retired employees of the Bank from different parts of the country are expected to take part in the two-day conference, he said that the meet will discuss issues concerning pension revision, health plans etc.

Continuing, Krishnamurthy said that AIBPARC (All India Bank Pensioners and Retirees Confederation) President K.V. Acharya will be the chief guest. The conference inauguration will take place at 10 am on Apr.10, he said adding that the Association Vice-President E. Sampath Kumar will preside.

Association office-bearers N. Srikantamurthy, Shivaprasad, G. Anantaiah Hande, D.A. Suresh and P. Vithoba were present at the press meet.
