Shivanna(66), a retired Police Sub-inspector (PSI) and a resident of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Nagar in the city, passed away here yesterday.
He leaves behind his wife, three sons, four brothers, a sister and host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill here yesterday evening.
Shivanna, who had served at Lashkar, Lakshmipuram, Vidyaranyapuram and other Police Stations in city, had retired from service in 2014.
