Retired soldier Srinivas passes away

Pandavapura: Srinivas (53), a retired CRPF soldier, passed away on Tuesday in the town.

He leaves behind his wife Sumithra, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Srinivas, who joined CRPF in 1991, retired from service in 2012 and was residing in the town. He took ill recently and passed away on Tuesday. Last rites were held in the town yesterday afternoon, according to family sources.
