Rev. Fr. Charles Lourdunathan (75), a Priest of the Diocese of Mysore, passed away last evening.
Born in Bengaluru in 1942, he studied in Chikmagalur and was ordained as Priest in Bengaluru by the then Archbishop of Bangalore Most Rev. Dr. Lourdusany.
He worked for a number of years in various Parishes in the Diocese of Mysore at St. Joseph’s Cathedral, St. Theresa’s Church and Sacred Heart Church in city and also at Pandavapura, Besagaralli, Chowdalli, Maddur and Pollibetta.
Funeral at Bengaluru tomorrow: The Funeral Mass will be held by Most Rev. Dr. K.A. William, Bishop of Mysore, at St. Francis Xavier’s Cathedral, Frazer Town, Bengaluru, at 10.30 am tomorrow.
