Mysuru: Rev. Fr. Cyril D’Souza (82), retired Parish Priest of Hunsur Church, passed away at St, Joseph’s Hospital in Bannimantap this morning.

The body of Rev. Fr. Cyril D’Souza was kept at Prashantha Nilaya in Bannimantap till 4 pm today and was later shifted to St. Mary’s Minor Seminary where it will remain till 8 am tomorrow (Jan. 6) for the public to pay their last respects.

Tomorrow at 8 am, the body will be shifted to St. Joseph’s Cathedral and the funeral mass will be held at 10.30 am following which the burial will take place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery on Mahadevapura Road in Gandhinagar, according to sources.
