Mysuru: Rev. Msgr. N.S. Marie Joseph (77) passed away today (Feb.5) at 3.15 am in St. John’s Hospital, Bengaluru. His mortal remains has been kept for public respect at St. Mary’s Minor Seminary, Millennium Circle, Bannimantap, Mysuru.
The funeral Holy Mass will be held tomorrow (Feb.6) at 10.30 am at St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Mysuru, followed by the burial service at St. Michael’s Farm, Old Kesare, Mysuru.
Rev. Msgr. Marie Joseph was the Head of the Department of Christianity and Chair of Christianity in the University of Mysore. He had served as Vicar General of the Diocese of Mysore, Secretary of Mysore Diocesan Educational Society, Parish Priest of St. Philomena’s Church and a number of other Parishes, according to a press release from Rev. Msgr. Leslie Moras, PRO, Diocese of Mysore.
