Hunsur: A two-wheeler rider reportedly died after he slipped and fell from the bike while riding on Old K.R. Nagar Road in the town on Wednesday night.
The deceased is Anil Kumar (38), son of late Kempachar and a resident of Kalkunike Circle in Hunsur town.
On Wednesday night, Anil was proceeding on his Bajaj Discover bike (KA-11-Y-1524) from the bridge side towards his house, when he tried to avoid hitting a scooter which was moving in front of him. He lost control of the bike in the process and fell down and sustained serious injuries.
Though he was admitted to a private hospital in the town, Anil succumbed to injuries.
Hunsur Town Inspector M. Shivamadaiah, who reached the spot along with his staff, registered a case and seized the bike. Post-mortem was conducted and the body was handed over to the family members, Police said.
