Mysuru: A bike rider was killed on the spot and another rider was seriously injured when their bikes collided against each other near Kalyanapura in K.R. Nagar yesterday. The deceased has been identified as Satish Nayaka (32), a resident of Kalyanapura and the injured, who has been admitted to K.R. Nagar General Hospital, has been identified as Uday.
The mishap took place on Mysuru-Hassan highway and following the collision, Satish, who suffered serious head injuries, died on the spot.
K.R. Nagar Circle Inspector K.K. Raghu, SI Shivaprakash and staff conducted mahazar and have registered a case.
