Mysore/Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider was killed while another rider suffered serious injuries in a head-on collision between a bike and a scooter on Manandawadi Road in city on May 29.

The deceased has been identified as Dushyanth (22) while the injured is 22-year-old Manjunath.

 On May 29 at about 5.10 am, Manjunath was proceeding towards Mysuru from H.D. Kote side on his TVS Jupiter scooter (KA-09-HL-4180) while Dushyanth, who was riding a Bajaj Pulsar bike (KA-09-JF-4140) from Ashokapuram side. Both the two-wheelers collided near Ambedkar Circle junction, resulting in both the riders sustaining serious injuries.

Both were rushed to a private hospital where Dushyanth succumbed to injuries later. A case has been registered at K.R. Traffic Police Station.
