Rider sustains fracture in leg as KSRTC bus hits

Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider sustained a fracture in his leg after a KSRTC bus hit the motorbike he was riding at Nehru Circle in the city on Wednesday morning.

The injured two-wheeler rider is 28-year-old Rajesh, a resident of N.R. Mohalla here.

The KSRTC bus, which came from Sub-Urban Bus Stand towards Irwin Road, hit the bike coming from the opposite direction at Nehru Circle resulting in Rajesh sustaining a fracture. N.R. Traffic Police, who reached the spot, shifted Rajesh to K.R. Hospital, where he was provided first-aid and was later shifted to a private hospital where he underwent a surgery.

A case has been registered at N.R. Traffic Police Station.
