Road hump a must here

February 17, 2026

Sir,

A few weeks ago I had raised concerns and suggested for certain traffic improvements.

While road humps are laid and traffic signal lights installed near Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) on Sahitya Bhavan Road, the hump suggested in front of Saptagiri Glass Shop is not attended to yet.

This is the major issue and concern wherein the motorists zoom past in the slope downwards and persons approaching to take right turn to Vijayanagar Railway Layout or to walk to the other side of the road is a nightmare. I request the authorities concerned to consider laying of a suitable road hump in front of this shop and do the needful.
