There is an urgent need to put up scientific road humps or speed-breakers on KRS Road in front of Coastal Garden Restaurant and Brigade Symphony Apartment. As we know, this road is the main connecting road for people and vehicles going to Brindavan Gardens and there is heavy traffic on this stretch.
The vehicular traffic increases multi-fold during weekends and holidays. Added to this, there are a number of industries and educational institutions located on this Road.
Vehicles are being driven at break-neck speed on this stretch in the absence of speed-breakers. To make matters worse, there is a Railway crossing on the Road which closes at regular intervals for trains to pass. In the mad rush to go across the Railway crossing just before the Gate closes vehicles are being driven at unimaginable speeds.
There has already been a number of accidents on this stretch and it is a matter of time before a major mishap occurs. On behalf of the law-abiding motorists, I request the authorities concerned to look into this matter on priority, install speed-breakers and make this road safe for all.
