Rotary Central donates desks, chairs to Govt. Higher Primary School

Mysuru: In yet another meaningful step towards strengthening education and creating lasting impact, Rotary Central Mysore executed a Community Service Project at the Government Higher Primary School near Gadi Chowka, Lakshmipuram, Mysuru recently.

The Club donated 10 desks with shelves, 6 Nali-Kali (baby round) tables and 24 baby plastic chairs to the school, totally costing approximately Rs. 62,500.

A memorable birthday

The programme also witnessed a heart-warming moment when young Shreya celebrated her birthday at the school.

Club member Rtn. Prasanna Kumar Mayya had made the occasion extra special by arranging chocolates for Shreya to distribute among students.

The gesture brought immense joy to the young birthday girl and added a beautiful personal touch to the day’s service activity.

Another Club member Rtn. Vijay Svarupa came forward to donate a classroom board, further strengthening the learning facilities available to the students.
