Rotary Ivory Margadarshaka Awards presented to senior Rotarians

Mysuru: Rotary Club of Ivory City Mysuru conferred the Ivory Margadarshaka Awards- 2017 on two eminent Rotarians  during the installation ceremony held on June 28. Rtn. PDG. R.Vasudeva Murthy and Rtn. PP. V. Praphulla Chandra were honoured in the presence of Rtn. PDG M. Lakshminarayana and other dignitaries for being beacons to Rotarians with their long and distinguished Rotary service in various Rotary positions and for their exemplary conduct in their professional career and private life. Rtn. Vasudeva Murthy is the longest serving Rotarian in South India having been inducted on Sept. 6, 1956 and having led the Rotary District as Governor during 1981-82.  Rtn. Praphulla Chandra is a charter member of Rotary Club of Mysore West having joined on Aug.8, 1972. He is the Chairman of Mysore Toys Ltd. and is well-known  for his services as President of the Rotary Club and in social and cultural circles.
