‘Rotary Namana’ Award presented to Rajashekar Kadamba

Mysuru: Rotary Mysore Midtown and Namana Kala Vedike had organised an event at Veene Seshanna Bhavan in Kuvempunagar here on Jan. 10 to present ‘Rotary Namana’ award for the year 2017 to theatre artiste Rajashekar Kadamba.

The award was presented by Rotary District Zone-7 Assistant Governor Rtn. Ravindra Bhat.

Speaking on the occasion,  Ravindra Bhat commended Rajashekar Kadamba for carrying on service in art and literature for the last 30 years and added that Kadamba Ranga Vedike had provided a platform for budding theatre artistes. He praised Rotary and Namana Kala Vedike for identifying and felicitating achievers in art, literature and theatre for the last 14 years.

Theatre personality Prof. H.S. Umesh, Rotary Mysore Midtown President Rtn. N. Narendra Babu, Secretary Rtn. Naveen Chandra, Namana Kala Vedike Convenor Anuradha Nandakumar, Nimisha Nandakumar and others were present.
