Mysuru: Rotary Mysore West – Sri Sharada Scholarship Award Ceremony was held at Rotary West Auditorium in Saraswathipuram recently.
Chief guest Swami Maheshathmanandaji, Correspondent, Ramakrishna Institute of Moral and Spiritual Education (RIMSE), Mysuru, who distributed scholarships to the students, called upon the gathering to imbibe moral and spiritual values among themselves.
Rtn. Joseph Mathew, Rotary District Governor Nominee, was the guest of honour.
Rtn. R. Manjunath Srivatsa, Secretary of Sri Sharada Education Trust and Sri Sharada Public School, assured to sponsor Rs. 1 lakh scholarship every year in memory of his late father S. Ramanathan, Founder-Chairman, Sri Sharada Education Trust and School, Mysuru. Scholarships worth Rs.1.30 lakh was distributed among 18 deserving economically weaker and meritorious students studying in various colleges in Mysuru.
Rtn. C.S. Ravishankar, President, Rotary West, Rtn. J.P. Aiyanna, Hon. Secretary, Shwetha Srivatsa, Trustee of Sri Sharada Education Trust, M. Gururaja, Administrator of Sri Sharada Public School, K.P. Seema, Principal of Sri Sharada Public School, members of Rotary West and staff of Sri Sharada Public School were present.
