Rtn. Joseph Mathew is District Governor Nominee Designate

Mysuru: Rtn. (Prof.) Joseph Mathew, Past President of Rotary West and Past Assistant Governor, has been elected as District Governor Nominee Designate of R.I Dist. 3181 for the Rotary year 2019-20.

Profile: Rtn. Joseph Mathew was born on Sept.28, 1957 at Thodupuzha in Kerala. He obtained his BA and MA in Sociology (second rank) from University of Mysore.  He has also  done PG Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.

After joining Rotary Club of Mysore West in the year 2001, he has taken various responsibilities and served as Director of various avenues of services and Chairman of various committees. He was also the President of Rotary West Association managing two schools and one junior college.

During his tenure as President (2009-10), Rotary West won the Best Club of the District Award.  The Club bagged 33 awards for different service avenues bagging 29 first places.

After serving in St. Philomena’s College, Mysuru, from 1984 to 2016, he took voluntary retirement while he was the Dean of the Faculty of Arts.

Rtn. Joseph Mathew will be the sixth District Governor from   Rotary Club of Mysore West.
