Mysuru: City-based Haridasa Sangeeta Sahityotsava Samiti has organised ‘Rukminisha Vijaya Saptaha’ written by Sri Vadiraja Gurusarvabhowma, from Feb. 16 to 23 at Sarada Vilas Centenary Hall in Krishnamurthypuram.
The programme titled ‘Ganasiri-Vedanta Lahari-12’ will be held daily from 5 pm to 8.30 pm. Discourse on ‘Rukminisha Vijaya’ and music programmes by renowned singers will be held daily.
The week-long programme will be inaugurated tomorrow by the Senior Pontiff of Sri Vysaraja Mutt Sri 1008 Vidyashreeshathirtha Sripadangal. Young scholars who have completed ‘Sudhamangala’ in 2024 will be felicitated on the occasion. Talk by young scholars about the Keerthanas written by Haridasas and others and a singing programme will be presented.
Discourse on ‘Rukminisha Vijaya’ will be presented by renowned scholar and Dewan of Sri Vysaraja Mutt Sri Bramhanyacharya from 6 pm to 8.30 pm.
Vidwan Anantha Kulkarni of Bagalkot, Vidushi Pragna Rao of Bengaluru, Vidwan Ramesh Kulkarni of Kalaburagi, Vidushi Divya Giridhar of Bengaluru, Vidwan Anantraj Mistry of Kalaburagi, Vidushi Supriya Praveen of Koppal and Vidwan Raichur Sheshagiridas of Bengaluru will present vocal music programmes from Feb. 17 to 23 respectively.
