Mandya: S. Nagarathna Swamy of JD(S) was elected as the new Mandya ZP President in the election held Yesterday. Nagarathna Swamy bagged 29 votes to defeat C. Sujatha of Congress who managed to secure only 12 votes. Mysuru Regional Commissioner Shivayogi Kalasad was the Presiding Officer. ZP CEO B. Sharath, ADC B.P. Vinay and others were present.
