Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah had a special guest in Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday, with Padma Shree awardee Saalumarada Thimmakka, who is known as ‘Vrukshamaate’ (Guardian of trees) greeting him. Karnataka Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) President Shivananda Tagadur was present on the occasion.

Later in a Tweet, Siddharamaiah said that Thimmakka wished him and prayed for copious rainfall and prosperity of the State. In return, he (Siddu) asked Thimmakka to keep watch on her health and the Government would take care of her.
