As part of the Centenary Celebration of her Canonisation, her First-Degree Sacred Relics are travelling across India, giving the faithful a special opportunity to experience God’s grace through her intercession.
The Sacred Relics of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus will be at St. Joseph’s Cathedral (St. Philomena’s Shrine), Mysuru and will be exposed for public veneration from 5 am on Nov. 7 until 10 pm on Nov. 8.
The faithfuls, who come for the veneration of St. Thérèse, may offer a small flower as a sign of their love and devotion. They may also bring their rosaries, prayer books, crosses or other devotional articles to be touched to the sacred relic as a sign of blessing and take them home as a reminder of St. Thérèse’s intercession.
All priests, religious and the faithful are invited to participate in this special spiritual occasion, venerate the sacred relics and seek God’s blessings through the powerful intercession of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, according to a press release from Most Rev.
