Sadhus from North India perform puja for well-being of CM, Kolar MLA in city

Mysuru: Naga Sadhus from North India, who were in  city yesterday, performed puja for the well-being of Chief Minister Siddharamaiah and Kolar MLA Varthur Prakash, following a request by a supporter of the leaders.

Kamsale Ravi of Kanakagiri in city had invited the Sadhus to his house to perform the puja. Four Sadhus performed  puja to the portraits of Siddharamaiah and Varthur Prakash.

Ravi said, the Sadhus, who had also visited BJP State President B. S. Yeddyurappa’s house recently, performed the rituals for the well-being of Siddharamaiah and Prakash yesterday.

“I am a fan of Varthur Prakash. The Sadhus blessed the leaders after the puja,” claimed Ravi. The Sadhus  later visited the Chamundi Hill and left for Dharmasthala.
