Safety of kids on two-wheelers

Sir,

Apropos the letter titled Check rampant traffic violations by Dr. Vijayendra (SOM dated Mar.18), I have posted my comment on the Police web-page concerning the safety of small children when they are being carried on two-wheelers without any safety belt.

There is no action by the Traffic Police regarding this issue. Simple advice by elders not to do such an unsafe riding is not only ignored but also scoffed at. It is high time the Police took serious action on such violators of safety.
