Sajida Begum (65), wife of late Shaikh Ahmed and a resident of Azeez Sait Nagar on Mahadevapura Road, passed away yesterday evening at her residence following brief illness. She was the younger sister of Abdul Azeez Chand of Darul Uloom Siddiqia in city.
She leaves behind one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Masjid-e-Abu Akhil, Azeez Sait Nagar after Zohar today, followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle.
