Mysore/Mysuru: Samaagama 2025, the Annual Bharatanatyam Festival presented by Nruthyathi Kalaashaale, will be held at Ganabharathi’s Ramagovinda Kalavedike on Aug. 30 and 31 at 5.30 pm.
The Festival holds a special place this year as it coincides with the 6th anniversary of Nruthyathi Kalaashaale, founded by Anusha Varun, who has trained over 500 students across India and abroad since 2008. Over the years, the institution has become a platform for nurturing young talent and carrying forward the heritage of Bharatanatyam with devotion and discipline.
Day-1 will feature the collective brilliance of more than 100 students, presenting a vibrant repertoire of Bharatanatyam. The evening will be inaugurated by Guru Sandesh Bhargav, Bharatanatyam exponent and Vice-President of Kaynes Technology, Mysuru. Enhancing the performances will be a live orchestra, featuring Anusha Varun (Nattuvanga), Vid. Shylaja Praveen (Vocals), Vid. G.T. Swamy (Mridanga), Vid.Samruddh (Flute) and Vid. Vinay Kumar Rangadhol (Rhythm Pad).
On Day-2, the stage will transform into a canvas of storytelling with ‘Vishwamithra Gayathri,’ a thematic dance presentation by the disciples of Guru Sandesh Bhargav (Kala Sandesha Prathishtana, Mysuru), inspired by the works of scholar Padma Shri Dr. Bannanje Govindacharya.
