Jnanodaya PU College bags Rolling Shield
Mysuru: Sadvidya Composite PU College hosted Samartha Sadvidya, an inter-collegiate fest on Nov.12. The event was inaugurated by President of Sadvidya Educational Institutions Prof. M.S.K. Narahari Babu and Secretary M.D. Gopinath.
Around 300 students from different colleges participated in the day-long competition which featured a diverse range of events such as debate, dance, music, instrumental music, chess, mono-acting and quiz.
M.R. Sri Harsha, a renowned actor, singer and music composer, was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony.
The students of Jnanodaya PU College bagged the Rolling Shield for the debate competition, chess competition and also received the Overall Trophy.
The students of Sadvidya Semi-Residential PU College and Sadvidya Composite PU College won the alternate trophy for the Kannada debate competition and quiz competition.

In Janapadageethe, K. V. Srujana and Sanjana Simha Rao secured the first and second places respectively. In Quiz, M. S. Vineeth and G.N. Chinmay bagged the first place while A. Rajath clinched the first place in Bhavageethe. B.N. Druthi and Saanvi Rao won the second place in Kannada and English debate respectively.
