Sampath Kumar Beechanahalli (65), a resident of Sathagalli 2nd Stage, passed away yesterday in city following brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this noon.
