Sampratibhothsava and Awards Ceremony held

May 7, 2025

Mysuru: ‘Sampratibhothsava,’ Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony-2025 and valedictory of the Students’ Forum were organised recently at Sarada Vilas College (SVC), Mysuru, which served as a vibrant platform to celebrate student talent, academic excellence and cultural and sports achievements.

Speaking as the chief guest, Dr. M.A. Shekar, Vice-Chancellor of Adichunchanagiri University, BG Nagara and Founder of Apoorva Diabetes Foundation, said, “Talent is judged amongst students by memory, intelligence, wisdom and awareness. Most people think talent is being smart in mathematics. But Literature, Music, Sports, Drama and Cinema are also forms of talent. Just as a plant grows stronger when it sends roots deep into the ground, similarly students must give priority to building inner strength. Only then can success be achieved.”

S.L. Ramachandra, Senior Governing Council Member, Sarada Vilas Educational Institutions (SVEI), said: “Today’s students are very fortunate. In this era of Google and Artificial Intelligence, talented individuals are receiving more opportunities, which is a matter of great happiness.”

Picture shows Sarada Vilas alumnus and award donor Dr. Veena Bharathi handing over silver medal and cash prize to Lohit for scoring highest marks in B.Sc. Chemistry and Botany (2021-2024).
