St.Joseph’s bags Overall Trophy in Fest
Mysuru: Higher Education Minister G.T. Devegowda, who inaugurated SAMRUDDHI 2K19 – Commerce & Management Fest at TTL College of Business Management, Saraswathipuram, on Feb.22, also lit the candle to pay tribute to Pulwama martyrs.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister highlighted the importance of acquiring special skills during their formal education as it would lead to creating self – employment and make the students independent.
Prof. R. Rajanna, former Registrar, University of Mysore, presided. Mallesh Babu, Secretary & Trustee, TTL Trust, Prasad Toligowda, Trustee, Prof.H.N. Aswathanarayana, Executive Secretary, B.V. Prashanth, Administrator & Placement officer, Dr. M. Preethi, Principal, TTL College of Business Management, Prof. B. Basavegowda, Principal, TTL Independent PU College, Alumni Association members, Teaching, Non-Teaching Staff, M.Com, B.Com and BBA students were present.
The valedictory was held at the college premises the same day. His Holiness Kundeling Rinpoche Sumati Samudra, President, The Atisha Charitable Trust and Kundeling Monastery and Anitha Suresh, President, Inner Wheel Club of Mysore Central, were the chief guests.
Samruddhi Fest saw participation from more than 13 colleges across the city. St.Joseph’s College won the Overall trophy of Samruddhi 2K19- Commerce and Management Fest while GFGC, Kuvempunagar won the Dr.K.L. Ramadas Memorial Music Competition Trophy.
The winners carried home mementos, cash prizes and certificates.
