Mysuru: Pramati Hillview Academy, Kuvempunagar, is celebrating Samskruta Saptaha from Aug. 23 to 28. S.N. Balachandra Memorial inter-school competitions in Sanskrit is also being held.
The event will be inaugurated on Aug.23 at 9.30 am by Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha of Pejawar Mutt.
This will be followed by Bhagavadgita recitation competition for students of class 1 and 2 and Samskruta Subhashita for students of class 3 and 4.
On Aug.26, Samskruta Gayana competition for students of class 5 to 7; Samskruta Vyakarana Rasaprashne (Quiz) for students of class 8 to 10; Samskruta Shastreeya Sangeetha Kruti Gayana competition for PU students.
On Aug.27, Samskruta interschool/ college drama competition; On Aug. 28 at 10 am, Ashtavadhan by Avadhani Venkatesha Kulakarni.
Prize distribution ceremony followed by valedictory function will be held in the presence of Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt at 1 pm.
