Mysuru, Aug. 30 (KS) – The 243rd Sandar Urus Shariff of Hazarath Nawab Hyder Ali Khan Bahadur will be held tomorrow at Srirangapatna and mysuru.
The Sandal Urus at Srirangapatna will be held at Gumbad-e-Shahi, Ganjam at Srirangapatna. The procession will commence at 3 pm from Masjid-e-Ala at Srirangapatna and will reach Gumbad-e-Shahi at 5 pm after which sandal will be pasted and flower chaddars will be spread on the Mazaars at Gumbad. In Mysuru, Hazarath Tippu Sultan Shaheed Central Welfare & Urus Committee, Mysuru City Secretary Afroz Pasha has organised the Sandal Urus Shariff, tomorrow at 11.45 am under the Presidentship of MLA Tanveer Sait and under the patronage of Sir Khazi of Mysuru Hazarath Moulana Mohammed Usman Shariff.
Fukrad Duff and recital of verses from the Holy Quran and Fatheha Khani will be performed at Meelad Park on Ashoka Road by Darvesh Syed Shah Afzal Biyabani Khadri Shervali, Jamath-ul-Fukara, Lashkar Mandal, Bengaluru.
The Sandal Urus Procession will be taken out to Masjid-e-Ahle, Srirangapatna and will join the procession of Tippu Sultan Wakf Estate to reach Gumbad-e-Shahi, Ganjam, Srirangapatna.
MLA Tanveer Sait, former Corporator Naseeruddin Babu, MLC Rizwan Arshad, Sufi Hazarath Waliba of Bengaluru, S. Moinuddin Pasha, Secretary of Central Meelad Committee, Mysuru, Riyaz Khan of Tippu Function Hall will participate in the programme.
After function at Meelad Park, the procession will begin at 11.45 am from Madrasa-Quwathul-Islam (Nawab Saheb Physical Institutions, Tippu Hall) on Sawday Road in Meena Bazar.
