The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, as a prelude to its annual cultural event ‘techNIEks’ 2017, has organised a Karnatak classical music competition titled ‘Sangeeth Shathranj’ at 10 am on Feb. 25 at Sir M.V. Auditorium, Golden Jubilee Block, NIE.
This competition for those in the age group of 16-25 years will be held in 3 areas — Vocal, Instrumental and Percussion Instruments. The winners are given cash award and certificate. The participants would be given participation certificate.
