Mysore/Mysuru: A Sangeethotsava programme in memory of Mysore Palace Asthana Mridanga Vidwan M.R. Rajappa will be held on Sept. 9 at Kalamandira at 4.30 pm, said Dr. M.R. Hanumantharaju, son of Vid. M.R. Rajappa, here on Tuesday.

Addressing presspersons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan, he said Dr. M. Mohan Alva, Chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation, will inaugurate the event.

Industrialist Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy, Lahari Velu, Science Writer Prof. S. Ramprasad and Department of Kannada and Culture Assistant Director Dr. M.D. Sudharshan will be the guests.

The inaugural event will be followed by Nrithyotsava by Vidu. Dr. Kripa Phadke and group, Layanaada Taranga Sangeetha programme by Saraswathi Vadyavrinda and Naganandini Tenkuthittu Yakshagana show.
