Hari Vidyalaya, Mysuru, will host its Inter-School ‘Samskruthotsava-2026’ on Aug. 22 (Saturday) at the school campus in CA-2, Railway Layout, Bogadi, at 9 am. Samskruthotsava is organised with the objective of creating awareness about the significance of Sanskrit, one of India’s ancient and classical languages and encouraging students to appreciate and preserve the country’s rich cultural heritage.
The festival will provide students with an opportunity to showcase their talent, creativity and knowledge through a variety of Sanskrit-based competitions.
The day-long inter-school festival will feature the following competitions: Bhagavad Gita Shloka Chanting for Classes I & II, Individual competition – participants may chant any six shlokas from Chapter 10; Subhashitha Chanting for Classes III & IV, Individual competition – participants may chant any six Subhashithas; Samskrutam Bhajana for Classes V to VII, Group competition – only Sanskrit songs are permitted; Samoohа Nrithyam for Classes VIII to X, Group competition.
