Sapientia-17: Commerce and Management Fest at Kautilya FGC: Jain University-B’luru bags Overall Championship

The students of Jain University, Bengaluru, are seen receiving Overall Championship Trophy of Sapientia’17 — Commerce and Management Fest, organised by Kautilya First Grade College, Vijayanagar, in city recently, from Leela Choudhary, Trustee, Sapient Education Trust. Others seen are Sapient Education Trust Trustee Daljeet Ram Choudhary, Director Girish Baga and Principal Dr. Sujatha Bopanna. Kautilya First Grade College, Vijayanagar, run by Sapient Education Trust, conducted Sapientia’17 — Commerce and Management Fest at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in city recently.

The two-day fest was aimed at providing a platform for the participating students to showcase their managerial skill beyond academics in different fields of management and Business Quiz.

Events like Incandesce (Best Manager), People Matter (H.R), Connector (Marketing), Finomaniac (Finance) and Concurso (Business Quiz) were crafted practically woven with the theme ‘The Bureaucrats’ to experience top-level  management scenario.

The event was inaugurated by Leela Choudhary, Trustee, Sapient Education Trust, in the presence of Daljeet Ram Choudhary, Trustee, Sapient Education Trust, Girish Baga, Director, Sapient Education Trust, staff, students and participants.

Dr. Sujatha Bopanna, Principal, welcomed the gathering.

GRS Fantasy Park Amphitheatre on the evening of Feb. 23 was lit up with glorious cultural event of Sapientia-2017.

Swarathma – An Indo-folk band kept the crowd on their toes with their melodies music.

De-Code: A local band with youngsters bustling with enthusiasm opened the evening  with a bang!

The students of Kautilya FGC flaunted their talent and awed the audience.

The wonderful evening ended with Vasu Dixit singing a beautifully written song on protecting our beloved River Cauvery.

  • People Matter (H.R): Winner – Sanchith Jain, ChristUniversity, BGR; Runner-Up – Harsh, Christ University.
  • Connector (Marketing): Winner – Vidhya Jashnani, Jain University; Runner-Up – Akhil Swaminathan, Christ University.
  • Finomaniac (Finance): Winner – Nihar Agrawal, Jain University; Runner-Up – Kuldeep, Christ University.
  • Concurso (Business Quiz): Winner – Shyam Acharya & M. Karan, CMS Business School; Runner-Up – Surjay          Chetia & J.S. Amruth, JSS – Ooty Road.

The Overall Championship was bagged by Jain University, Bengaluru.
