Puttaswamaiah Samaja Seva Trust had organised a function at the premises of Kuvempunagar Branch of City Central Library yesterday where saplings were planted. Launching the programme, City Central Library Deputy Director B. Manjunath opined that the land can be protected only through expanding the greenery. He asked the residents to make best use of the Library. District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Dr. Y.D. Rajanna was the chief guest  Trust President P. Padma was present during the programme.
