‘Saptapadi’ mass marriage next month

The Religious Endowment Department under ‘Saptapadi’ scheme will be holding mass marriage at Srikanteshwaraswamy Temple in Nanjangud and at  Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysuru. Eligible couples can register their names before May 6 for the Saptapadi Mass Marriage, which will be held at Srikanteshwara Temple on May 11.

Couples may register before May 18 for the Mass Marriage to be held at Chamundeshwari Temple on May 25. While registering, the brides and grooms must submit their photos, birth certificate, SSLC marks card, Aadhaar card, authenticated letter from Panchayat Raj or Municipality or Corporation confirming that the bride and groom have not married earlier, bank pass book copy and ration card, according to a press release from Mysuru DC Dr. Bagadi Gautham.
