Mysore/Mysuru: Nadavidyalaya – Academy of Music and Dance, Hebbal, Mysuru, has organised annual cultural festival titled ‘Nada Nrityopasana’ at Ramagovinda Kala Vedike, Ganabharathi, Kuvempunagar, on Nov. 16 at 5 pm.

Academy’s Senior and Vidwat grade dance students, in all 25 promising artistes, will take part in the fest along with their Guru Vidu. Mithra Naveen.

Bharatanatyam programme will be presented by Senior students of the Academy followed by a dance-drama ‘Sarvam Rama Mayam — Universe Pervades by his Aura’ by Vidwat students.

Pratibha Gururaj, an active social worker and Dr. Prahlad Rao, also a social worker and mridangist, will be the guests of honour. 

Accompanying artistes include Direction and Natuvanga by Guru Vidu. Mithra Naveen and Vidu. Meghana Shravan, vocal by Vid. M.S. Naveen, mridanga by Vid. G.S. Nagaraj, flute by Vid. Vivek Krishna and rhythm pad by Vid. Vinay Rangadol. Vidu. Harshitha Amruth will compere.
