Sarvodaya Karnataka Party merges with Swaraj India

Convention at Freedom Park on Mar. 25

The Sarvodaya Karnataka Party will be merged with Swaraj India at a convention to take place at Freedom Park in Bengaluru  on Mar. 25 at 11 am.

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, writer Devanur Mahadeva, who is also the President of Sarvodaya Karnataka Party, said that Swaraj India, which has a Pan India presence, is engaged in constructive politics and as such, the Sarvodaya Karnataka Party, which has the same ideals of Swaraj India, is getting merged in that party.

Pointing out that Swaraj India was established by eminent leaders such as Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan and Prof. Anand Kumar, who came out of Aam Admi Party (AAP) disgusted over the style of functioning of the party. He further said that the party’s B. Karunakar and Vasanth Kumar have been appointed as Convenors of the merger to take place on Mar. 25.

KRRS Working President Chukki Nanjundaswamy, General Secretary Badagalapura Nagendra, DSS President Guruprasad Keragodu, Narasimhamurthy and others were present during the press meet.
