Sathrang: Painting competition marks Children’s Day

Mysore/Mysuru: Sathrang- 2022, an inter-school painting contest organised by Nakhsha Group and supported by ARC Wheeler Cleaner Pvt. Ltd., provided a platform to over 1,100 students from various schools to paint their dream home along with their parents at an event held at St. Thomas School in Vishweshwaranagar recently.

Nearly 50 educational institutions sent the best talent to be part of Sathrang-2022 to celebrate Children’s Day through colours.

Students participated in Super Junior (Class I-IV), Junior (Class V-VII) and Senior (Class VIII- X) categories. Participants were allotted 2 hours to complete painting their dream home. Juries were invited from The Hobby Place.

Speaking to Star of Mysore, Nakhsha Group Founders Vinay Shankar and Pratibha Nayak said, “Sathrang-2022 is the first edition held in Mysuru. This will be held every year in November at various venues.”

 “We were overwhelmed with response from schools and it was wonderful to witness parents paint their dream home with their children,” said ARC Wheeler Cleaner Pvt. Ltd., CEO Dr. Asheesh Chadha. The following are the prize winners:

Super Junior Category: First- S. Kiran (VVBSM School), Second – Krithvini Vijay (Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan), Third  – Illa Samyojitha (CKC Public School).

Junior Category: First – H.P. Pavani (Capitol Public School), Second – K. Deeksha (Shri Sharada Public School), Third – Dhrithi V. Shah (St. Joseph’s Central School).

Senior Category: First – Aaron Alex (Marimallapa High School), Second – N. Namana (Mysore West Lions Sevaniketan), Third – V.V. Litesh Gowda (St. Joseph’s Central School).
