S.B. Savitha has secured four Gold Medals and three cash prizes in MA (Philosophy) at the 99th Convocation of University of Mysore (UoM) held at Crawford Hall in city  on Sunday.

Interestingly, her husband Krishna was also third rank holder in MA (Philosophy). She is a resident of Chikkamagaluru.

The gold medals were instituted in the names of C. Sethubai, Prof. K. Venkataramana, Prof. K.R. Srinivas Iyengar and Dr. B. Srinivasamurthy. The cash prizes were instituted in the names of Rajaseva Devanahalli Venkataramaiah, Bhagawan Sri Ramana Maharshi and Prof. Hebbar Tirumalachar Shantha.
