Savitha Samaja demands separate Welfare Board

Mysuru: Around 300 members of the Savitha Samaja held a protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office here on Tuesday demanding the State Government for a separate Welfare Board.

The protesters, headed by District President D.M. Nagaraj, said that their community had been completely neglected and that they needed a separate Welfare Board to help the community members enter mainstream society. They also shouted slogans against the State Government before submitting a memorandum to ADC T. Yogesh.
