SBM Colony Residents share their award with Pourakarmikas

Mysuru: The Mysore Bank Colony Residents’ Cultural & Welfare Association (SBM Layout), Srirampura II Stage, was recently rewarded first prize by Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) as part of                                    ‘Swachh Survekshan’ in city.

As the Pourakarmikas also assisted the Layout in Swachhata Abhiyaan and as a motivation step, the office-bearers of the Residents’ Association shared their happiness with the Pourakarmikas of the area by distributing sweet packets to them and sharing a group photo with them and the Corporator.

Apart from this, MLA T.S. Srivatsa, who visited the SBM Colony honoured the Association President Arunkumar Shettar for this achievement.

New EC Team

The Mysore Bank Colony Residents’ Cultural & Welfare Association, SBM Colony, conducted its Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) recently at the Janani Janmabhumi Trust Function Hall and reviewed its performance and services held.

Association President Arunkumar Shettar presided. Secretary presented the Annual Report for 2023-24. Treasurer M.S. Shivakumaraswamy presented the audited statements of account and sought permission for continuation of auditors for subsequent year which was accepted by members.

Office-bearers

Following is the new team of unanimously elected office-bearers and EC members — President: Arunkumar Shettar; Vice-President: K. Raghuram; Secretary: K.V. Ramanath, Joint Secretary: Venkatakrishna Bhat; Treasurer: M.S. Shivakumaraswamy; Other Committee Members: Nagendra Prasad, H.T. Raviprakash, Udayashankara Bhat, Deepak Kini and C. Vijayalakshmi.

Special invitees to assist the EC included Harsha, H.R. Prakash, Rajasekhar, Manjunatha Sharma, Mallikarjuna Setty, C.R. Venkateshamurthy,  Umakanth, G.K. Viswanath, Manohar and Sumangala.
