Labour and Employment Department has invited applications from children of street vendors, mining labours, film labours, steel and manganese ore workers to avail student scholarships. The scholarship amount for children studying from 1st to 4th std. is Rs. 1,000,  5th to 8th  – Rs. 1,500, 9th & 10th – Rs. 2,000,  11th &12th (PUC) – Rs. 3,000, ITI, Polytechnic & Degree – Rs. 6,000, Professional courses like BE, MBBS, MBA – Rs. 25,000.
